Easter day was pretty mellow around our house. We got up at a normal time and Fiona found that the easter bunny had left a basket for her right smack in the middle of the living room filled with plastic eggs and wooden vegetables…oh boy! ( i love that she still has no idea what candy is so for now these things aren’t just about the sugar!) We had a leisurely day and then after nap time went to Greg’s parent’s house for a nice dinner with G’3’s and uncle Kevin. We had a great time.
We didn’t go to Enumclaw to see my parents this year. It was just too much and I was about to leave the next day to go out of town. Not to mention that we still have memories of last Easter. Fiona’s first easter was not so smooth. We spent the morning with Greg’s parents…which went better then most days…and then headed to Enumclaw where Fiona literally cried and screamed for 4 hours straight! It was miserable for all…so maybe we just wanted to stick close to home this time to get one good one under our belts =) we’ll see about next year. The poor little girl is probably going to have to hear that story every Easter for the rest of her life!
